So, that picture on the top right...what's going on there? Is Darth encased in a chocolate womb/tomb of some sort? Is that a torture device specifically designed for Darth?

It is clever, you see, because most people could eat their way out of a chocolate womb/tomb. And most would enjoy themselves in the process. But since Darth is more machine now than man, not only could he not eat his way out, but he'd be forced to smell the sweet, but elusive escape route.

Although, do you suppose Darth has any sort of smelling mechanism? Originally, I would have assumed yes. But having now seen Revenge of the Sith, I'm thinking the Emperor had to throw that cyber-suit together pretty quick since Anakin was on Death's door. I'm betting that suit only had the bare minimums. However, that's not to say there wasn't time for cyber-suit improvements later on.

But I don't think they did make any improvements later on because if you listen to his breathing system, you can tell its pretty jury rigged and clunky. (Its so loud!) And surely "breathing" would be first on the list of improvements.

Well, olfactory sub-routine installation or no, I think we can all agree that were Darth encased in a chocolate womb/tomb, he would not be able to eat it due to his inability to take off his helmut...because he's encased in chocolate. I wonder if there's a Jedi mind-trick for that.

But without the savory smell-taunt, this torture device looses a lot of it's punch. Maybe its not such a clever torture for Darth after all.
