Didn't you hear? They put out a DVD collection of the early Sesame Street shows. They come with a warning that they might not be suitable for today's toddler. Apparently Burt and Ernie are gay and Cookie Monster has an eating disorder. Here is a link to the NPR story.
To not put "clean" on there means the buyers would have to use their own common sense. I just want to know if this collection has a "clean" advisory, how come the other ones say "parental advisory" and not just "dirty"?
Oh, come on - Burt and Ernie are NOT gay - they are just two neat and tidy guys who live together and never talk to women. And all those long Ernie in the tub scenes were just... uh, hey wait a minute...
Just goes to show you that there are way too many people out there that do not want to think for themselves, and thus they even need to be told that a kids podcast is 'clean' or safe
