Starbucks celebrity...?
Quick post before I dive into work...
I went to Starbucks as I usually do now before work (it's the little reward I give myself after the hour-long commute), and the barista was SO EXCITED to see me. "Keri!" she said. "I was just thinking about you! I was hoping you'd come in today!"
Eh?
The other barista looked over. "Oh, that's Keri?" I waved tentatively. "I'm Keri..." I said. The second barista motioned to the first barista. "She was saying, 'Oh, I wonder if Keri will be in today.'" We exchanged pleasantries as I waited for my coffee.
When I left, the first barista waved vigorously. "Bye, Keri!"
I'm really not sure what I did to deserve this kind of attention, but it was kind of nice. I felt like Norm.
