Oh, yes, I believe this is FTW.

It took me a while to find it because I couldn't spell "Haysi Fantayzee" and searches for "Shiny Shiny" invariably came up with the blog.

I wanted to look like the woman in this video So. Bad. I mean, who wouldn't? Except she seems to be wearing a chastity belt. But if the trade off for looking like this woman meant I had to date that scarecrow-looking dude, um, no chance. (See what I did there?)

Edit: Figures I can't spell "chastity."

Gord was visiting from Canada (damn tourists) which gave us a good excuse to finally walk across the Golden Gate Bridge. Here are photos from this grand event, and Paul has his own theories about why it's called the "Golden Gate."

Way to know your audience, Safeway. There's really no reason why you couldn't have matched my specials with my Safeway.com orders (which is how you have my email address), and, you know, realized THAT I'M VEGETARIAN. It's all about the personalization, people.

If you're from Southern California and grew up in the '80s, you'll remember Oingo Boingo and the awesome Halloween concerts. Ahhhhh... I miss those.

It's rare when I attend a TMBG show and a) score a place right up front b) it's a daytime show and c) cameras are allowed. So I shot photos rapid-fire until I ran out of memory. Here are a couple; I narrowed down the rest of them to about 30 photos on Flickr.

Um... the ratio of Flans to Linnell photos may be a little... skewed. Because, you know, I was standing on Flans' side and it was easier to take pictures of him.
